Fitness

Fitness class at SEP is an introduction to the benefits of a fit and healthy lifestyle.  The aim of the class is to encourage daily activity, balanced and varied nutrition and to emphasis that  it is not necessary to be ‘sporty’ to be healthy.   The activity is based outdoors and as such uses very little equipment, concentrating on functional exercises which replicate everyday movements; such as ‘climbing stairs’.  The Fitness class also aims through a varied and fun programme to develop teamwork, confidence and fitness knowledge.   It is hoped that many take the skills learned and an enthusiasm for lifelong fitness with them when they leave SEP.
